Account Transactions
With Online Banking, you have the flexibility to make a same day payment, schedule a future payment or sign up for AutoPay, where your payment is scheduled on the same day each month. You can use a U.S. Bank checking account or an external account to make payments to your credit card. If you choose to set up an external payment account, it only needs to be set up once for all future payments.

To make a payment:

  1. Log in to Online Banking.
  2. Under the "Transfers and Payments" tab, select "Pay My Account."
  3. Select the Account you are paying, and the Account you are paying from.
  4. Select the frequency, either Once for a onetime payment, or Recurring to set up AutoPay.
  5. Complete the remaining payment information and select Continue.
  6. Review the payment details and click Submit.

The cut-off time for same day Web (non-AutoPay) payments varies but generally ranges between 5 pm and 8 pm CT. Please contact Cardmember Service if you have questions about your applicable cut off time.

PhonePay

Making a payment over the phone is easy!  First you need to sign up for this option, and then each time you make a payment via our automated phone system, your next statement will reflect that payment. After you've set up PhonePay the first time, call Cardmember Service anytime before your payment due date—even on the due date if you call before 7 p.m. (CST). Have your Card account number handy and follow the easy payment instructions. There is no charge for a payment made through our automated phone system (consumer cards only).1 To sign up for PhonePay just call Cardmember Service.

Be sure to include your account number in the memo area of your check.

To request a balance transfer:

  1. Log in to Online Banking.
  2. Select your Credit Card Account from the home page.
  3. Select "Request a Balance Transfer" from the left navigation.
  4. Select your Account and click Next.
  5. Click "Transfer a balance from another credit card."

Note: Rewards are not awarded on Balance Transfers. It is the cardmembers' responsibility to close their own existing credit card, upon the completion of a balance transfer to a Club CarlsonSM Visa credit card.

To request convenience checks:
  1. Log in to Online Banking.
  2. Select your Credit Card Account from the home page.
  3. Select "Request a Convenience Check" from the left navigation.
  4. Select your Account and click Next.
  5. Click "Order a booklet of Convenience Checks."
  6. Follow the simple instructions to request a Convenience Check.
Note: Available on select Club Carlson Visa products.  Club Carlson Gold Points are not awarded on Convenience Checks.
With Online Banking, you can view your account balance and over two years of transactions.  You can also view Online Statements, building up to 7 years of history.

Account Alerts notify you of important account activity, such as a low available balance or when a payment is due. You can set-up these alerts and select where you would like an email or text message notification delivered. Standard text messaging rates may apply from your mobile carrier. The following alerts are available:

To set up Account Alerts:

  1. Log in to Online Banking.
  2. Select "My Alerts" under the "Customer Service" tab.
  3. Click "Add Alerts" next to your Card account.
Security Alerts notify you when sensitive personal information, like an ID or address, changes. These alerts do not require any set-up and are automatically delivered to your primary email address. You will be notified when the following events occur:
  • Address or phone number changes
  • Primary email address changes
  • Online Banking ID or Password changes
  • ID Shield Changes (including setup, questions and answers or image/sound and phrase changes)
  • Online Banking ID and Password were disabled due to multiple, incorrect login attempts
  • Login Assistance was requested to provide your Online Banking ID


HOW TO CHANGE WHERE SECURITY ALERTS ARE DELIVERED

To change your primary email address:

  1. Log in to Online Banking.
  2. Select Edit Profile under your name and email address.
  3. Click "Edit" next to Primary Email information.
U.S. Bank overdraft protection protects your U.S. Bank Checking account from costly overdrafts by automatically transferring cash to it from your Club Carlson Visa credit card account.
FlexControl
With FlexControl, you have the flexibility to pay off everyday purchases in full, accelerate payments to help pay down a balance more quickly, or pay off larger purchases over time. Choose FlexControl Essentials or Accelerator to manage your payments and save on interest.
  • Choose up to seven everyday Essentials categories (like gas, groceries, dining or bill payments) to pay in full monthly.
  • Pay no interest on your chosen Essentials categories when they're paid in full each month, which happens automatically once you've enrolled.
  • Select your preferred monthly Essentials payment date.
  • Retain your ability to carry a balance on your card for larger purchases or unexpected expenses.
  • Make accelerated payments to reduce your credit card balance and save on interest charges.
  • Choose an amount you're comfortable with to add to your minimum payment - we'll track these incremental payments on your statement and show you the interest you're saving.
  • Choose a payment frequency that fits your finances (monthly or weekly).
  • After you set up your Accelerator payments, you can adjust them online any time.
To set up FlexControl Essentials or Accelerator
  1. Log in to Online Banking.
  2. Under the "Transfers and Payments" tab, select "Pay My Account."
  3. Select the account you are paying to and from and then select "Recurring"
  4. Your FlexControl options will be displayed to the right.
Visa Payment Controls is a free service you can use to individually customize each of your employee's business credit cards to control where, when and how your employees use them.  Learn more.
Additional Features

With your Online Banking spend analysis, you can download a year-to-date summary for the current year, or an annual account summary for the two previous calendar years.

To access the spend analysis:

  1. Log in to Online Banking.
  2. On the My Accounts page, click the “View Spend Analysis” link under your Card.

Note: Data is loaded on a monthly basis and should be available by the 5th business day of the month. If you are attempting to access a new account, the account must go through one statement cycle before the data will become available.

  1. Log in to Online Banking.
  2. Select your Club CarlsonSM Visa card.
  3. Select "Check Your Credit Score for Free" from the left navigation.

To request a copy of your Cardmember Agreement:
  1. Log in to Online Banking.
  2. Select "Self Service" under the "Customer Service" tab.
  3. Select "Manage Your Credit Account."
  4. Click on "Club CarlsonSM Visa® Card."
  5. Select "Request A Cardmember Agreement" and follow the easy steps to submit your request.

Your Agreement will be mailed to you within 7-10 business days.

It's easy to download your transaction data into Quicken® or Microsoft® Excel formats.   

To download transaction data:

  1. Log in to Online Banking.
  2. Select your Credit Card account from the home page.
  3. Select "Download Transactions" in the Account Activity section. 
  4. Select the date range.
  5. Select the download file type.
  6. Click "Download Transactions."

Rules for the Club Carlson Visa Program & Benefits ("Card Benefit Program")
By using your Club Carlson Visa credit card account ("Account"), you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Card Benefit Program rules as published in the Benefit Guide. These Card Benefit Program rules are in addition and subject to additional terms and restrictions as set forth in the Cardmember Agreement ("Agreement") and the Club Carlson Program Terms and Conditions. Account must be open and in good standing to earn and redeem rewards and benefits. Upon approval, please refer to your Rewards Program Rules for additional information. The creditor and issuer of this Card is U.S. Bank National Association ("U.S. Bank," "we," "us," and "our"), pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. As used herein, “you”, “your” and “the business owner” means the individual who executed the application for credit and, where applicable, requested that we issue one or more Card(s) for employee(s) and “Cardmember” means the business owner and any employee(s) to whom we have issued a Card.

Club Carlson Program:  The primary Cardmember (for Business Reward Accounts, the business owner) must be a Club Carlson member and the Cardmember's name must match the name on the Club Carlson account. A primary Cardmember (for Business Reward Accounts, the business owner) who is not an existing Club Carlson member at the time of Account application will be enrolled in the Club Carlson program as part of the Account application.  Gold Points from separately enrolled Accounts may not be combined into one Club Carlson account.

For Business Reward Accounts, Gold Points may be earned by all Cardmembers and will be pooled to one Gold Points balance in the business owner’s Club Carlson account. Certain bonus Gold Point offers may be earned solely by the business owner, as specified in the offer terms. The business owner will have the sole authority to redeem the pooled Gold Points.  Except with respect to Gold Points earned on Accounts issued to one or more employees that are pooled in the business owner’s Club Carlson account, Gold Points from separately enrolled Accounts may not be combined onto one Club Carlson account.  All Card benefits are available solely for the business owner.

Club Carlson participation, including the earning and redeeming of Gold Points and all other membership benefits and features are subject to the Club Carlson Terms and Conditions and privacy policy available at clubcarlson.com/termsandconditions. Specific benefits and services offered at individual hotels may vary, may not be available at all hotels and are subject to change. Free award nights (with no blackout dates) are for standard rooms only, are subject to availability, and the number of Gold Points required vary based on the applicable hotel category for hotel requested.

If there is any abuse of the Card Benefit Program, failure to follow the Card Benefit Program rules, or any misrepresentation by a Cardmember, all Gold Point balances, including any Gold Points not yet transferred to Club Carlson, may be forfeited without liability, no additional Gold Points shall accumulate, and any other Card Benefit Program benefits may be immediately discontinued. We reserve the right to approve, deny or revoke participation in the Card Benefit Program to any individual for any reason whatsoever.

 


1 Consumer Cardholders:
While there is no charge to make a payment through our automated phone system, we may add a $10 service charge to the Purchase balance of the Account if you call us to make a payment on your Account and are assisted by a Cardmember Service Representative to make the payment. You will be provided with confirmation of the service charge before the payment transaction is authorized.

Business Cardholders:
We may add a $10 service charge to the Purchase balance of the Account if a payment is made over the phone either through our automated system or if you are assisted by a Cardmember Service Representative to make a payment.  You will be provided with confirmation of the service charge before the payment transaction is authorized.
